Colorado Springs police are searching for two feminine theft suspects Colorado Springs Information

Colorado Springs police are looking for two women who allegedly stole a woman’s wallet in a mall parking lot before smacking their vehicle into a shopping cart while fleeing.

The officers responded to a robbery call Saturday morning at the Target mall at Prominent Point in northeast Colorado Springs, police said. The victim said two women in a white Ford EcoSport SUV stole their purse and drove off, but not before crashing into the shopping carts and damaging the front left bumper.

When officers interviewed witnesses, the victim informed them that their credit card had just been used in a store about eight miles away on Austin Bluffs Parkway and Academy Boulevard.

The police searched the store and the surrounding area but did not find the suspects or their vehicle.

Witnesses told police that one of the suspects may have needed a crutch to walk.

Police said the suspect’s SUV matched the description of a vehicle that was stolen earlier this week.
