Colorado Springs Police Discover Weapons and Medicine at House Whereas Trying to find a Little one Colorado Springs Information

Colorado Springs police are looking for two adults after guns and drugs were found in a house search Friday, but a police report said the child they were told would not be at the residence, according to a police report. The child was later moved to a different location, police said.

In response to a tip, the Department of Human Services told Colorado Springs police on Friday that a house on the 800 block of North El Paso Street contained guns and drugs and that a young child was there, the report said.

At 4 p.m., patrolmen, narcotics detectives and federal agents for alcohol, tobacco, firearms and explosives came on the house with a search warrant and found two assault rifles, two shotguns and two handguns, police said. Ammunition and high-powered magazines were found, as well as amounts of cocaine, xanax and oxycodone pills.

According to the police, arrest warrants are pending against two suspects in connection with the weapons and drugs found.

The police did not reveal the names of the suspects, nor did they comment on the child’s current whereabouts.
