REGINA, Colorado (KRDO) – Finding affordable housing in the Springs seems difficult, and it’s not just your imagination.
Colorado Springs is linked to Durham, North Carolina as the 54th most expensive rental market in the country, according to this month’s Zumper National Rent Report. Denver is sitting on the 17th and Aurora is 46th.
According to the sources, the median one-bedroom rent was $ 990 per month, while the two-bedroom rent was $ 1,220.
Remarkably, the average rent for two bedrooms has increased by 9.9% compared to last year’s data.
